Saudafjord

Since 2021, our boat rental has been on the premises of Sauda Fjord Camping by the beautiful Saudafjord.

Here we offer 4 boats from 6 to 60 hp.

The Saudafjord, like the Hardangerfjord, is perfect for fishing and exploring.

The Saudafjord is the northernmost end of the Boknafjord in Rogaland. The national tourist route Ryfylke (from Ropeid St. 520) runs to Sauda high above the fjord, which is almost 400 meters deep here. The surrounding mountains are more than 1000 meters high. The highest peak - Hustveitsåta - is 1187 meters above sea level. Here the snow lies well into spring.

Before you get to Sauda, it is worth stopping at several viewpoints and rest areas. Sauda, the capital of the municipality of the same name, is located at the end of the fjord and has long been known as an industrial town. Today you can also find the largest facility for alpine skiing in southwestern Norway.

Experience the wonders of this earth up close, feel the harmony of nature, take in the freedom - fishing in Norway.

Please adhere to the prescribed minimum sizes of the fish in order to protect the fish population in the fjords and in all Norwegian waters. If you catch an undersized fish, please carefully unhook it and put it back in the water. A badly injured or dead fish can of course be taken home and eaten. Treating nature and animals fairly ensures the abundance of fish for your next fishing holiday with us in Norway.

General information!

All motorized boats have a full tank of fuel and reserve fuel before departure. A life jacket is provided for each person on board. We recommend wearing these.

Furthermore, there are paddles, boat hooks, scoops on every motorized boat. On request we will also provide a fish transport box.
